  • Organise and coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Deliver HR administrative support across the HR function.
  • Support the HR Manager with HR projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and services.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor based at Immingham on a one year Fixed Term Contract. To provide day to day HR generalist support across the VPI Group in relation to all HR Queries, Employee Benefits, Recruitment, Training and Development, Employee Relations, and other administration for the VPI group employees in line with best practice and statutory obligations.

To support the HR Manager and HR Team on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Provide advice and guidance to line managers on employee performance, conduct, absence management and the application of HR policies.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
  • Support the HR team through all stages of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Produce job offer letters and contracts of employment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS system (Cascade), including employee data, contracts and documentation.
  • Organise and coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Deliver HR administrative support across the HR function.
  • Work with the HR Administrator and HR Team to produce the monthly HR Dashboard.
  • Support the HR Manager with the delivery and completion of HR projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and services.
