Responsibilities

French Speaking Bookkeeper
Location: North West London
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum
Ref: 5481F

  • Main duties: You will be offering support with administrative and accounting operations to the sales teams in both the UK and France
  • Performing general bookkeeping tasks, including daily banking transactions
  • Recording and maintaining transaction logs
  • Following up on overdue debtors and controlling credit on outstanding invoices
  • Reviewing banking reconciliations
  • Liaising with the external accounting services provider in France for VAT, tax, payroll and compliance matters
  • Undertaking any additional ad-hoc tasks as required
  • This role is likely to evolve as the market grows so strong opportunities to progress within this role for motivated candidates
Candidate's Profile
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Two years’ experience in a similar role as an Accounts Assistant, or an admin role involving accounting tasks
  • Good Excel skills, as well as a previous experience of Sage and a CRM would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
