Forklift Warehouse Operative Location: Nantgarw Salary: £36,877 (including 25% shift allowance) Hours: 40 per week, rotating shifts Shifts: Days: 6am-2pm (Mon-Fri) Afternoons: 2pm-10pm (Mon-Fri) (Night shift may be introduced in 2026) Manpower is recruiting a Forklift Warehouse Operative for our client in Nantgarw.

We're looking for someone flexible, reliable, and proactive, ideally with experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

You'll play a key part in keeping warehouse operations efficient, accurate and safe.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out general warehouse duties across goods in, dispatch, and returns
  • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Load courier vehicles and unload incoming deliveries
  • Conduct stock checks and stock takes
  • Use the in‑house system (RADIUS) to record activity accurately
  • Maintain high standards of quality, service, and housekeeping
  • Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives across the site
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
Qualifications
  • Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance licence (essential)
  • Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Strong work ethic with great attention to detail
  • Experience in modern warehousing, goods in/out, and WMS systems (Radius or similar)
  • Understanding of safety, quality, and customer service standards
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and willing to learn
