A leading UK forestry division is seeking an experienced Forestry & Woodland Consultant to manage and grow forestry properties across Northern England. Responsibilities include overseeing contractors, preparing valuations, and supporting sustainable forestry projects. Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in forestry or land management.
  • Strong understanding of carbon and natural capital markets.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop client relationships.
  • Positive attitude towards the rural economy and countryside.

Responsibilities

  • Manage forestry properties from planning to harvesting.
  • Oversee contractors for planting and timber harvesting.
  • Prepare valuations and budgets for forestry acquisitions.
  • Support afforestation projects and ensure sustainable practices.
  • Build relationships with clients and identify growth opportunities.
