Job description

Steel erection supervisor / Foreman

Global Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced Steel erection supervisor to join our client's highly skilled team on a permanent basis.

Please note the initial project is based in South east London (Near Peckham).

Rate of pay - Up to £26 per hour

The position requires someone with their own tools & site install experience

Location - Multiple sites in and around London

Suitable candidates should have the following:

• You must be experienced in all types of Fitting, Fabrication and Welding to a high standard with an emphasis on architectural steelwork
• You must have the ability to read from Engineering drawings and work on your own initiative in a workshop environment and on Customer premises.
• We require people who have good communication skills, a positive attitude and who are extremely flexible in their approach to all aspects of Engineering & their working hours.
• Supervisory/Leadership skills would be a distinct advantage but not essential, provided skills are to a high standard.
• You must have experience fabricating both architectural & structural steel
• Valid CSCS Card , SSSTS or SMSTS (Must have) & IPAF (Preferred)
