Job description

The FCB Ford Lease Specialist reports to the FCB Marketing and Sales Operations Manager and is co-located between the FCB Marketing and FoB Yield Management teams in Dunton. This role manages the day-to-day relationship with our white label partner and requires travel to their offices in Bristol as necessary to support the business.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage in effective dialogue, present to, negotiate with Ford Lease, Ford, and Ford Credit colleagues at various levels, and influence and 'sell' ideas.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Ford Dealer network and Ford Credit Britain, along with strong commercial and market awareness gained in FCB or FoB Marketing and/or Sales.
  • Be a dynamic self-starter, capable of identifying opportunities, influencing, and ‘selling’ ideas.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with a passion for our business.
  • Strong drive for results and the ability to see tasks through to successful completion, with a proven track record of delivering quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Proven team player with experience working within a diverse team environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Ford Lease, FCB, and FoB stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and data interrogation skills.
  • Excellent PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Marketing qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Share responsibility for Ford Lease contract performance, penetration, and renewal targets.
  • Monitor the performance of the Ford Lease account and portfolio, providing management information on performance and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Ford Lease team, FoB Contract Hire Yield Management team, and other key stakeholders such as FCB Finance & Sales teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for Ford Lease & FoB on issues related to vehicle financing, especially variable marketing programmes.
  • Support the delivery of vehicle sales targets in collaboration with Ford Lease & FoB.
  • Promote an integrated marketing strategy and go-to-market approach to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement marketing programmes in conjunction with Ford Lease and FoB Yield Management teams, utilizing competitor analysis, portfolio data, and performance insights.
  • Manage Pricing requests with Ford Lease.
  • Coordinate marketing and renewal programme launches with the FCB Marketing team for flawless execution.
  • Coordinate Take to Market activities for product launches with Ford Lease.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality dealer communications regarding Ford Lease marketing programmes.
  • Support the Digital & Communications Specialist with Ford Lease promotional activities.
  • Participate in Ford Lease, FCB, and FoB working groups or sales meetings as needed.
  • Incorporate Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty principles into all marketing activities.
  • Provide marketing support to the FCB & FoB Sales teams.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects or assignments as required.
