Job Introduction

Join our team at HMRC Cardiff, where you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting catering, cleaning, and retail services. You’ll prepare and present food to a high standard, assist with stock control, and help create a welcoming, clean, and well-organized environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages to a high standard, including catering to dietary requirements.

  • Keep kitchen, café, and dining areas clean, tidy, and fully stocked.

  • Operate tills, handle cash, and follow profit protection procedures.

  • Follow cleaning schedules (daily/weekly/quarterly) and maintain hygiene standards.

  • Receive and store deliveries, rotating stock correctly.

  • Report maintenance issues and follow health & safety and food safety standards at all times.

  • Support with room set-ups, portering tasks, and other duties as required.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

  • Be flexible to cover holidays and sickness where needed.

  • Previous food service or hospitality experience (full training will be provided if not).
