Food Court Attendant x 2 (25hrs Fixed term until 26/07/2026 & 13hrs Fixed term until 31/08/2026)
About us

The role will be working for the Market Service in our highly successful and award winning food court called Cookhouse. You will be working with a team of 8 others who all report to a senior market supervisor. Cookhouse is open 361 days a year up from 9 am to 10 pm (Fridays and Saturdays) and sometimes later on special occasions such as New Years Eve and houses 11 hot food outlets, a dessert bar, a real ale bar and a cocktail bar all under one roof.

The role

2 x Roles - 25hrs per week fixed term until 26/07/2026 & 13hrs per week fixed term until 31/08/2026

The role is responsible for the daily upkeep of Cookhouse, which involves clearing and cleaning tables, separating waste into the various stream - general, recyclable and food waste, cleaning floors and windows, ensuring cutlery and trader's crockery is cleaned in the dishwashers and returned as quickly as possible for re-use. Deal with simple customer enquiries and assist where possible. The role will entail regular shift working over a 7 day period and some toilet cleaning.
