A recruitment agency is seeking a compassionate Housing Floating Support Worker to provide support to women across London who have experienced violence. The role involves delivering practical help and emotional support, conducting risk assessments, and advocating for service users in multi-agency settings. Ideal candidates will have experience in supporting vulnerable groups and strong interpersonal skills. This is a full-time, home-based role with occasional travel required.
Location: Pan-London (home-based with travel across London from time to time)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £15.50-20 per hour
Contract: 2 month temporary role with potential to extend
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Housing Floating Support Worker to join a Pan-London service supporting women who have experienced violence or abuse. In this vital role, you will provide practical, emotional and housing-related support that enables women to feel safe, sustain their accommodation, and work towards independence.
Working on a mobile basis, you will offer tailored casework, risk assessment, safety planning, and tenancy-sustainment support. You will empower survivors to navigate statutory systems, access their rights, maximise income, and engage with local opportunities that strengthen their wellbeing and financial resilience.
