Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Manchester seeks a Full-Time Fitter / Installer to perform fitting and installation tasks within a workshop setting. The role offers a salary of £27,378 plus overtime at enhanced rates. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with tools and the ability to read technical drawings. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Overview

Fitter / Installer – Manchester – Full-Time – £27,378 + Overtime at Enhanced Rates – Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:30pm (2pm finish on Fridays)

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting and installation tasks within a workshop setting (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, saws, spanners).
• Installing panels, floors, equipment etc.
• Accurately follow technical drawings, instructions, and specifications.
• Work efficiently in a busy workshop/manufacturing setting.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Previous experience in a hands-on role — preferably where installation or fitting is required.
