Qualifications

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter / Assembler to join our busy and growing workshop team.

Location and Details

Location: Doncaster DN9
Type: Full-time / Temporary- Permanent
Salary: £14 / hr

The Role

As a Fitter / Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of new agricultural machinery to high standards, working from technical drawings and alongside our team of skilled engineers. You will be involved in the fitting and installation of mechanical components and systems on a range of specialist agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble agricultural machinery to detailed engineering drawings.
  • Fit and install components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical elements.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced engineers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently within the workshop environment.
  • Carry out final checks to ensure machinery is ready for testing or delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar fitter or assembler role.
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience in agricultural machinery assembly (preferred but not essential).
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
