Finance Director

Location: London, UK Reports to: CEO / Managing Director Type: Full-time

A leading property management company seeks an experienced Finance Director with expertise in serviced apartments, hotels, or hospitality real estate. This role drives financial strategy, commercial performance, and cash flow management in a dynamic, asset-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Leadership: Oversee financial planning, control, and reporting; advise the Board on performance, risk, and growth; support refinancing and restructuring initiatives.
• Commercial & Operational Finance: Partner with operations to optimise pricing, yield, and occupancy; lead budgeting and forecasting; implement cost controls and monitor KPIs (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR).
• Cash Flow Management: Manage liquidity, short‑term forecasting, and stakeholder relationships; improve billing, collections, and supplier cycles.
• Reporting & Compliance: Deliver timely management accounts and board packs; ensure strong internal controls, tax compliance, and audits (UK GAAP); optimise system usage (Xero, PMS, ERP).
• Leadership: Build a high‑performing finance team; align financial and operational objectives; present clear analysis to stakeholders.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 8+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven track record as Finance Director or similar in hospitality real‑estate.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational finance expertise.
• Experience managing multi‑site portfolios and working‑capital constraints.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on approach with ability to operate strategically and tactically.

Desirable: PMS experience (e.g., ResHarmonics, Artur); finance transformation or restructuring background.
