The Role

We are seeking a Financial Accounts Manager (ACCA Qualified) to oversee financial operations, manage reporting, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to ensure compliance with UK financial and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and oversee financial statements, management accounts, and budgets.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation across multiple sites.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff.
  • Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, health & safety, and company policies.
  • Assist in the financial planning of new store openings and operational expansions.
Essential Requirements
  • ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial management or accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, KPIs, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work checks will be conducted).
Desirable
  • Experience in multi-site retail accounting.
  • Professional qualification in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Exposure to ERP or financial management systems in retail.
