We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our driven and collaborative Finance function becoming a key partner to our Business Units. This role will suit you if you are self motivated, dynamic, analytical and commercially astute. The desired applicant will be highly driven wanting to further develop their career and the finance teams capabilities. They will work closely with the wider finance team & also collaborate strongly with operational departments providing effective and efficient support to the financial aspects of projects. The role will provide guidance and support to all levels of a department (Consultant all the way to Board members) with the opportunity to build relationships at different levels. Working in these partnerships will deliver consistent, high quality service that will enable the Company to achieve their Vision and Targets.

Responsibilities
  • Accepting candidates from Norwich, Cambridge, London, York
  • Link between Finance team and Operational Business Units
  • Be a reliable and efficient source of information and resolution for the operational team
  • Ensure data is accurate and up-to-date recording all project information
  • Regular reviews with the operational team to highlight impending issues and resolve current problems
  • Produce monthly sales invoices with a view to maximise revenue
  • Review Project Financials to identify any additional charges for variations and out of scope work
  • Resolution to client queries in a timely manner
  • Input and production of supplementary reports to the monthly management accounts
Essential
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • AAT qualified or studying towards (willing to consider part qualified candidates)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to handle high volumes of data
  • Strong personal drive to deliver accurate and detailed results to expected timeframes
  • Good communication skills to build relationships with all levels of the business
  • Advanced in Excel
  • Commercial focus with understanding of what drives business results
Desirable
  • Deltek Vantagepoint experience (or other Deltek products)
  • Xero experience
  • Professional services background
