Job summary

A luxury hotel in London is seeking an experienced Finance Manager. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with at least 5 years of PQE, preferably from a 4 or 5-star hotel. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports and reviewing ledgers. The role also requires fluency in English and strong interpersonal skills. Salary ranges from £40K to £45K.

Qualifications

• Preparation of weekly sales and banking reports.
• Review of guest and city ledger and timely debt chasing.

• Assist in business forecasting and reporting.

Overview

Finance Manager - Hotel

Our Client is luxury 5 star hotel close to London Bridge.

They are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager - qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience PQE.

You will ideally have experience of working at a 4 or 5 star hotel property and bring your expertise to this fabulous Client.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of weekly sales and banking report.
• Review of guest and city ledger and chasing of all debt on a timely basis.
• Preparation of adjustments and write off reports.
• Assist in forecasting of business expected in comparison to last year and obtaining the actual and producing a report.

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE.
• Previous experience as a Finance Controller from a luxury 4/5* hotel.
• Basic understanding of accountancy and bookkeeping.
• Fluent in written & verbal English; ideally ability to communicate in Hindi.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Great team worker and leader with the ability to work under pressure.

Salary

Salary for this role will be circa £40K - £45K
