Finance Manager | Huddersfield | Up to £55,000 DOE | Permanent, Office BasedWe're looking for an experienced
Finance Manager to join a growing construction business in Huddersfield. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function and play a key part in supporting the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and cashflow forecasts
- Manage CIS, VAT, PAYE, P11Ds, pensions, and CITB levy returns
- Oversee subcontractor payments and purchase ledger
- Manage audits with external accountants and Companies House submissions
- Produce valuation applications, invoices, and rebate claims
- Provide financial insight and cost information across the business
About You- Finance experience within the construction industry (essential)
- Strong knowledge of CIS, VAT, PAYE, and compliance
- Part-qualified, fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or QBE
- Detail-focused, hands-on, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
