Job description

I'm delighted to be supporting a growing PE-backed business in Nottingham to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a newly created position to support a recently appointed Head of Finance. The business continues to evolve and has multiple revenue streams with turnover recently reaching over £190m.

Finance Manager - Nottingham - £60-65k + Bonus - Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office - Free Parking

The role would suit a second mover from Practice who wants to build out their commercial experience or someone Industry-trained with strong technical accounting knowledge.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

• Support with the preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Support with IFRS 16 calculations
• Ownership of the short-term cash flow model
• Support the Head of Finance with financial modelling projects
• CapEx reporting, including detailed reporting on transformation project spend
• Assistance in the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Other ad hoc year-end related activities
• Looking into variances and responding to ad hoc queries from across the business

We are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) finance professional with 3+ years PQE. You will be technically strong with a good understanding of IFRS reporting but comfortable in a business-facing and commercially focussed environment.
