Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 + benefits
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire (Office–based – 1 day per week WFH optional)

This is a newly created Finance Manager role within a fast–growing, highly successful SME operating in a market with huge long–term potential. With a current turnover of around 50m and growing rapidly, the business is entering an exciting phase of development, with future growth driven by a blend of organic expansion and strategic M&A activity.

The role reports directly to the Finance Director, providing strong exposure, influence and the chance to play a key role in shaping the finance function during a period of rapid growth.
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the management accounting and financial reporting function, while leading and developing a small finance team. This is a hands–on leadership role, requiring strong technical capability alongside the ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
The role is predominantly office–based, reflecting the collaborative and people–focused culture of the business. That said, flexibility is available, with one day per week working from home for those who find this works best for them. The team values being together, sharing ideas and supporting one another, and this balance helps maintain a strong sense of connection while recognising individual preferences.

You will be fully professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and comfortable operating in a hands–on environment where accuracy, ownership and leadership are essential.
