Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking to join a stable and supportive team within a long-established business? Our client, based at their head office near Fareham, Hampshireis looking to recruit a permanent Finance Assistant to work 4 days per week, within a friendly and experienced finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your Sage 50 and accounting skills to a well-run company that values accuracy, organisation and a hands-on approach. You'll be working on a diverse range of tasks across multiple entities, offering great variety and scope.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

  • Recording, processing and matching invoices.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and supporting regular account reconciliations.
  • Preparing e-payment schedules and forecasts.
  • Handling supplier queries and setting up supplier accounts.
  • Assisting with sales ledger duties.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with reporting and audit preparation.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

  • Credit control experience would be beneficial.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills.
  • Must have own transport due to office location (free on-site parking provided).
