Job Summary

A global market leader with over 50 years of transportation experience and contracts across 5 continents, Cubic Transportation Systems offers a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team well-established UK Field Service Technicians, maintaining and repairing Cubic equipment on Transport for London and National Rail infrastructure, keeping it running smoothly while providing exemplary customer service.

With an extensive list of high-profile projects, you will be exposed to all areas of transportation technologies including the latest innovations in automated fare collection and contactless payments, guided by experienced team members.

Note: this is a permanent day shift role with a 4x4 shift rotation

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance on Cubic equipment.
  • Respond quickly to repair equipment and follow maintenance procedures.
  • Embrace training and continuous improvement.
  • Minimise downtime during fault callouts.
  • Assist with equipment installations.
  • Comply with Health and Safety and quality standards.
  • Handle equipment module delivery and collections.
  • Assist with Management lead project work.
  • Deputise for the Field Service Team Leader when appropriate.
  • Carry out vehicle stock checks.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle and FORs accreditation.
Minimum Job Requirements
Essential
  • Hands-on experience in a technical service/maintenance environment.
  • Engineering qualification.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Clean driving license
Desirable
  • HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with SLA-driven contracts.
