A leading material handling company in the UK is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to diagnose, service, and repair forklift and plant machinery at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in machinery repair and strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. Qualifications

  • Experience in forklift or plant machinery repair (essential).
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Familiarity with engines and batteries.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults on forklifts and plant equipment.
  • Perform servicing and emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Work independently at customer sites maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Travel to various locations for repairs and maintenance.

Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £35,000–£39,000 (OTE £45,000+) – Paid Door-to-Door
Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00 + Overtime (1.5x)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
