A leading specialist trade merchant is seeking a full-time Service Engineer in Haydock. This role involves servicing and calibrating equipment, providing technical demonstrations, and delivering top-notch customer support. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering background and a valid UK driving license. Qualifications

• Proven mechanical engineering/mechanics background required.
• Experience in electronics, hydraulics, and component fault-finding preferred.
• Valid full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service and calibrate equipment for hire fleet and customer equipment.
• Provide technical demonstrations of products.
• Support regionally on specialist equipment.
• Offer telephone technical support internally and externally.
• Deliver high-class customer support during breakdowns and training.
• Diagnose and repair faults on hire equipment.
