Job Description

We are looking for an expert B2B field focused sales specialist to join our successful sales team to contribute to a collaborative and encouraging, future thinking team with responsibility for handling important customer relationships in the south of England. If this sounds appealing, then this is the role for you!

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure set up and specific ranging of products in line with launch timings within independent retailers.
  • Work with retail partners to drive aligned execution of activity calendars aligned to the business monthly activation calendar.
  • Coordinate P&L for the customer maintaining focus on Credit facility and Claims.
  • Ensure delivery of targeted consumer and shipment plans
  • Manage customer order portfolio to align with customer plans and closing stock targets.
  • Deliver to operational internal critical path expectations with launch planning, promotional planning.
  • Management of the account planning processes including trade promotional planning, launch planning and account planning.
  • Take accountability for own individual development plans, through conversations and actions with line management.
  • Build compelling customer business plans, delivering against the business units go to market strategic direction within the independent channel.

The LEGO UK & Ireland Sales team drives the delivery and execution of the business strategy delivering profitable and balanced growth at retail. The role is to be a trusted partner who strives to get the right products and experiences, in the right place, at the right time and drive a mutually beneficial business plan with our customers.

This role enables a sales and service oriented field sales professional to support the company in their day-to-day interactions with our business partners and in true LEGO fashion have fun doing it.

Do you have what it takes?
  • An in-depth experience of building relationships with internal and external partners
  • A strong collaborator, and an ability to present your findings to all levels whilst identifying business opportunities.
  • A natural independent worker who can also collaborate with the wider team.
  • Exposure to joint business planning and an understanding of contingency planning
  • Prepared to test and learn when supporting the team with accounts to develop new strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Know the basic forces of the market in which we operate as a company : consumers, customers, competitors etc.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytics and data management experience with the ability to turn insight into action planning with specific focus on Budget management.
  • Microsoft - Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
  • Full UK Driver’s licence along with a mode of transport and a need to travel (up to 10 overnight trips per year).
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
