Qualifications

• NVQ or similar in electrical engineering or Level 3 NVQ in Light/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Ability to work independently to deliver and maintain high standards when unsupervised.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Customer Awareness with professionalism and effective interaction.
• Proven experience as a field-based engineer or vehicle technician with fault diagnosis skills.
• Experience working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Good customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify system faults through electrical testing and monitoring tools.
• Rectify faults in on-vehicle and on-street hardware.
• Maintain and drive to improve KPI performance.
• Installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with planned maintenance programmes.
• Attend periodic progress meetings and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Comply with Health and Safety Standards.
