Overview

This great organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. ATM experience is preferable and the higher end of the salary applies to experienced candidates; FULL TRAINING will be given. The role will cover Manchester and the North West region.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing faults, making repairs and replacing modules on ATMs.
  • Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and in compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
Candidate requirements
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively and proactively.
  • Good mechanical / electrical aptitude.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge; full training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Shifts and benefits

Shifts are 5 days on, 2 days off, with a day off on either side if working over the weekend. Typical shift hours are 8:00–17:00, 9:30–18:00, or 12:00–21:00.

This role comes with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and a fuel card. Tools, laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided. Uniform and PPE are provided. Excellent company benefits include 30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays).
