An organization supporting individuals with disabilities is seeking Female Support Workers in Poole to empower independence and lead fulfilling lives for two ladies in Christchurch. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, mobility, and community activities. Candidates must hold a Full UK/EU Driving License and experience with learning disabilities is desirable. As these ladies have their own vehicles it is essential all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License. Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. In this context, "gender" refers to the sex legally assigned to an individual. Dimensions is seeking Female Support Workers to make a meaningful difference to two ladies we support in Christchurch by empowering their independence and supporting them to lead fulfilled lives. We are able to accept applications for part-time Female Support Workers.
You will be working a mixture of early (07:00-14:30) and late (14:30-22:00) shifts and Sleep-Ins. There will be a requirement to work alternate weekends. Pay rate £12.85 per hour. Sleep-in shifts are paid at an allowance of £50 per shift. The ladies we support are in their 60s. One has learning disabilities and the other Downs Syndrome and a learning disability. They enjoy days full of activities and would like to meet Female Support Workers who can support them to:
