Position: Female Support Worker

Location: Ingoldmells

Payrate: £14.18 per hour flat rate

Shift times: To be confirmed - We are looking for full time and part time applicants.

This is a role to work specifically with an individual who likes to be active and creative. They are autistic and a wheelchair user and require support from staff that value honesty and respect. This role is about working with someone, not over them, and you\'ll be part of a team that values clear communication, mutual respect, and practical, compassionate care.

We\'re looking for someone who is:

• A female Support Worker who is a car owner and willing to use their car for work with mileage paid.
• Willing and able to support all aspects of life including cooking, activities, and life skills.
• Treats others the way they\'d want to be treated.
• Respects the individual\'s space, belongings, and autonomy.
• Is proactive and can take initiative without being prompted constantly.
• Has emotional resilience and life experience - conversations and needs can sometimes be complex or sensitive.
• Is calm, observant, and able to help manage triggers before they become an issue.
• Able to problem solve.
• Understands that quality of life is more important than pushing for total independence and demonstrates a willingness to adapt depending on the need presented, as they vary day to day.
• Wants to support someone in living a fulfilling, self-directed life.
• Fully engaged in the role, not just active but attentive.
