Job description
Overview

We are now looking for a Feature Architect Powertrain to join us, specialising in ICE control, E-motor control and driveline systems. If you're passionate about turning ideas into reality through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), this is an opportunity to influence the future behaviour of some of the world's most iconic cars.

Responsibilities
  • Translating bold ideas into feature specifications and system requirements.
  • Using MBSE tools (Polarion, Capella, Siemens modelling) to design logical, functional and system architectures.
  • Defining system requirements and ensuring feature compliance with SOTIF (ISO21448) and Cyber Security (UNECE R155).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams — from vehicle engineering and production to suppliers and test engineers — to make sure features integrate seamlessly.
  • Tackling complex issues head-on, guiding resolution and keeping projects on track.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in automotive or embedded systems, ideally with a degree in Electrical, Automotive or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with MBSE methodology and the automotive V-cycle; ability to translate stakeholder requirements into practical system architectures.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi) and diagnostic standards like UDS/ODX.
  • Familiarity with requirements capture tools (Polarion or DOORS) and CAN tools (Vector, CAPL scripting).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detailed focus with a broader view. Experience with AUTOSAR, E2E communication protection, or cross-domain work is an advantage.
  • Curiosity, resilience and self-drive; strong communication and collaboration skills to work with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
