Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or building maintenance.
  • Confident with basic maintenance tasks and hand-tool use.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and complete relevant training (IOSH, First Aid).
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing manual duties.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead grounds maintenance and seasonal site upkeep.
  • Support building maintenance, security, and operations.
  • Carry out regular inspections and maintain records.
  • Assist with stock control and larger facilities projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Provide flexible support across all areas of the department.

In this hands‑on role, you'll take ownership of grounds maintenance, support day‑to‑day building upkeep, and play an important part in ensuring our workplaces in Kings Hill and London are always operating at their best. What you’ll do At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Facilities Maintenance Officer you too will play an integral part in what we do. As our Facilities Maintenance Officer you will:

Responsibilities
  • Lead grounds maintenance and seasonal site upkeep
  • Support building maintenance, security, and general facilities operations across both offices
  • Carry out regular inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with stock control and contribute to larger facilities projects
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • Provide flexible support across all areas of the department

  • Experience in facilities or building maintenance
  • Confident with basic maintenance tasks and hand‑tool use
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills
  • Willingness to learn and complete relevant training (IOSH, First Aid, maintenance, technology)
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing manual duties
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new technical systems
