WELDER

Working in partnership with an established engineering company in Brough (Hull) we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Welder. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing company who offer bespoke solutions worldwide with a great payrate of £20.00 per hour.

Shift pattern/ Working hours

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Start date / Duration

The Welder position will commence with immediate effect and is a permanent position.

Job Description

As a Welder, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, working on a variety of projects that require precision and skill. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding components for light and medium equipment, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to technical specifications.

  • Fabrication & Welding: Perform high-quality fabrication and welding work on various types of metal components.
  • Reading Engineering Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to produce accurate parts.
  • Material Handling: Work with a range of metals, ensuring proper selection and preparation before fabrication.
  • Precision & Quality Control: Conduct careful and precise welding operations while adhering to tight tolerances and inspection standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize tools such as grinders, saws, welding machines, and press brakes to complete fabrication projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues in the fabrication process and collaborate with team members to find effective solutions.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment.
