Primary schools across Merton are looking for EYFS Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 Support Staff to work with pupils in Nursery and Reception, supporting children at a crucial stage in their development.

What your role will look like:

• Providing 1:1 or small group support in EYFS settings
• Helping children develop early communication, social, and emotional skills
• Supporting routines, transitions, and learning through play
• Offering gentle support with regulation, confidence, and independence
• Working closely with EYFS teachers, SENCOs, and wider support teams

This role could be perfect for you if you:

• Have experience in EYFS, nursery, or early years settings
• Are nurturing, patient, and naturally playful in your approach
• Understand that learning in EYFS doesn’t always happen at a table
• Have experience with additional needs (speech and language, ASD, sensory needs), or a strong desire to learn
