Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the EYFS team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the early years setting.
- Develop and implement a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing targeted feedback and interventions to support their development.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
- Provide guidance and support to EYFS staff, promoting effective practices and continuous professional development.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with other leaders and staff to drive school improvement and ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working in early years education, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of early years practitioners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences.
- Able to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children.
