A global engineering firm is seeking a Senior or Principal Water Resources Engineer to join their Dams & Reservoirs team. In this role, you will work on diverse hydropower projects and engage in hydrology studies and hydraulic modeling. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering, experience in Dams hydraulics, and proficiency with relevant modeling software. As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec are looking to recruiting a Senior or Principal or experienced Water Resources Engineer into our Dams & Reservoirs team.
Working as part of our Dams & Reservoirs team within our Energy & Resources business, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across Dams and Hydropower including Coire Glas, Cruachan, Pitlochry, Loch Awe, Sloy, Bewl, Little Swinburne, East and West Hallington and more.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team including other hydraulic/civil engineers, hydrologists, geotechnical, structural, and mechanical engineers. You will be involved with hydrology studies/analyses, hydraulic modelling and design and dam break and floodplain inundation studies. You will be tasked with preparing reports and liaising with client teams.
