Were recruiting for a Expense Accountant – Group Protection (12 months maternity cover) to join us. Were offering a competitive base salary.

Were looking for an Expense Analyst to join our Group Protection Finance team where you’ll play a key role in helping us meet our financial targets through insightful analysis and proactive financial support. What you’ll be doing :
  • Producing monthly and quarterly reports to support senior management decision‑making
  • Managing reconciliation and analysis of Insurance MER data and expense forecasts
  • Supporting the development and tracking of business cases and investment portfolios
  • Monitoring monthly spend and processing accruals across cost centres
  • Providing accurate and timely information for quarterly forecasts
  • Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
  • Assisting managers and executives in understanding financial perspectives
  • Supporting fair customer outcomes through effective finance processes and systems
Qualifications :
  • Ideally part-qualified accountant with strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of financial services and UK life insurance regulations
  • Experience with financial planning forecasting and expense tracking
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases and financial modelling tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence across all levels
  • Strong judgement and analytical thinking in a fast‑paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt to change
