Job summary

A multinational engineering company is seeking an Excel Administrator to support the Materials and Procurement teams. The role requires advanced Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables, and the use of SAP for material planning. Daily tasks will involve data entry, liaising with supply chain professionals, and reporting to senior management. This position is office based in Greenwich, offering a long-term contract with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour.

Excel Administrator

Greenwich (SE10)

£14.50 ph 37.5 hours per week


Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00, Office based


We are recruiting for a multinational engineering company based in Greenwich, SE10 to support the Materials and Procurement teams.


The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience of SAP, to plan the quantities and timeframes of material requirements. A successful candidate would need to have advanced Excel skills and be comfortable using all aspects of Excel without training.


Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:


  • Data entry using Microsoft Excel

  • Experience using Vlookups and pivot tables

  • Use of in-house systems such as SAP (Training provided)

  • Liaising with the in-house supply chain, procurement and buying professionals

  • Reporting material availability and departmental performance to senior management

  • Ensure availability of the components


Skills required:


  • Competent in the use of Microsoft programs

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communication skills, confident on the phone and chasing suppliers.
