Overview
This dedicated position is specifically responsible for tracking and executing all sponsorship deliverables from signing through completion. This critical role ensures sponsors receive the value they paid for and helps maintain strong sponsor relationships.
Supporting Roles
- Event Management Team: Oversees the sponsorship fulfilment process and budget approval
- Account Manager: Serves as the primary relationship contact for sponsors
- Marketing Team Member(s): Execute promotional elements of sponsorship packages
- Operations: Implement on-site sponsorship elements
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Facing: Join sales on exploratory calls with customers to understand their objectives and to present more creative sponsorship solutions
- Oversight of Sponsorship Website: Consistent management and oversight of Clienttion and updating the sponsorship website, images, materials and specifications
- Ideation of New Sponsorship: Keep abreast of new innovative sponsorships and come up with creative concepts to drive experience and brand awareness
- Package Implementation: Translating sponsorship agreements into actionable fulfilment plans
- Timeline Management: Creating schedules with key dates and deadlines for deliverables. Deliverables span pre-event, on-site, and post-event periods requiring continuous oversight
- Task Assignment: Designating team members responsible for each fulfilment element
- Tracking Progress: Monitoring completion status of all sponsorship obligations
- Sponsor Communication: Providing regular updates to sponsors on fulfilment status
- Quality Control: Ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and sponsor expectations
- Documentation: Maintaining records of all fulfilled sponsorship elements
- Customer ROI: Performance reporting post show
- Sponsor Satisfaction & Renewal: Measured improvement in sponsor satisfaction scores and consistent improvement in renewal or new business interest
- Effective sponsorship fulfilment is essential for sponsor retention and building long-term relationships that can lead to increased sponsorship revenue in future events.
