This division specialises in the design and manufacture of advanced interconnect, moulding, and encapsulation solutions. The business operates from a dedicated UK manufacturing site with a strong engineering heritage and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, supporting customers across the globe through both direct and channel‑partner networks.

The Role

The European Sales Manager will drive sales across the region for the company’s interconnect and connector product lines. You will take ownership of developing and executing a regional sales strategy, building a strong pipeline, and nurturing relationships with both direct customers and distributors.

This is a highly visible, growth‑focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in technical sales, thrives on autonomy, and wants to make a measurable impact within a globally recognised engineering group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline to exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with distributors and channel partners across Europe.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for interconnect, encapsulation, and moulded cable assembly solutions.
  • Promote new product capabilities, including high‑precision connector technology.
  • Deliver technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and seminars both directly and with partners.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with other divisions within the group to maximise market reach and share.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline updates.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven sales experience in interconnect, connector, or related engineered solutions.
  • Background in manufacturing, defence, marine, or energy markets preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging at all levels up to C‑suite.
  • Technical understanding of connectors, moulding, and encapsulation technologies beneficial.
  • Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
