With a commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, we are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team.
Role OverviewAs an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the business in winning and delivering successful projects. You'll be working on large-scale structural steel packages and liaising closely with clients, design teams, and internal departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate estimates for structural steel projects.
Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
Evaluate technical documents to identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings.
Prepare bills of quantities, budgets, and cost plans.
Contribute to tender submissions and presentations.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the wider commercial team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.
Proven experience as an Estimator within the structural steel or wider construction industry.
Strong knowledge of structural steelwork, fabrication, and erection processes.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
