Estimator - Architectural Metalwork. Location: Essex. Salary: Up to £55,000 (experience dependant).

I'm working with a leading specialist in architectural metalwork who are looking for a talented Estimator to join their team in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking contractor delivering bespoke and high-quality metalwork packages across the region.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for architectural metalwork projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Liaising with clients, designers, and the commercial team to ensure competitive and profitable bids
• Managing tender submissions and following up on enquiries
• Identifying opportunities to add value and reduce risk in bids

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within architectural metalwork (essential)
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
