There is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, to join the Air Quality & Environmental Protection Service and help protect the health and wellbeing of residents and businesses. The Air Quality & Environmental Protection Service is a diverse team with a high level of expertise in noise and acoustics, statutory nuisance (noise, smoke, dust, light, odour), air quality, contaminated land and environmental permitting. The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver specialist investigative support/advice for Regulatory Services in the fields of noise / acoustics and statutory nuisance. You will work closely with the team’s members, as well as with colleagues from other services, such as the ASB team, Property Licensing, Planning Enforcement and external stakeholders, as part of case investigations and other project work. To successfully fulfil the role’s duties and responsibilities, you will be expected to carry out office-based work, as well as site visits.
