Job description
Overview

We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our high-performing, forward thinking and cohesive department. We teach a rigorous academic curriculum with a clear focus on supporting all students achieve positive outcomes. You will work with the Director of English, and the wider school team to continually drive attainment and standards across the department.

Responsibilities
  • To assist in the development of resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in an identified curriculum area
  • To contribute to the school development plan and its implementation
  • To plan and prepare and lessons
  • To contribute to the whole school’s planning activities
  • To run after school clubs
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
