Responsibilities
- Collate, maintain, and provide accurate engineering and operational data and statistics as required by the management team.
- Liaise with Maintenance, Facilities and Contractor teams to ensure engineering requests are raised, monitored, and resolved promptly, communicating progress and outcomes to management.
- Assist with the administration of compliance documentation, statutory records, and engineering certifications.
- Collate and process work order data, investigate discrepancies, and prepare information for invoicing or reporting purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of plant, equipment, and asset usage, including scheduling, service history, and maintenance logs.
- Manage personnel data related to overtime, leave, sick pay, and shift rotas to ensure accurate reporting for management and HR.
- Develop and maintain digital systems for time and attendance, asset tracking, and engineering statistics.
- Provide general clerical and secretarial support to the CPE team, ensuring flexibility to cover varying administrative requirements.
- Adhere to all Port policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, delivering administrative support to the required standards.
- Support the raising of purchase orders, cost tracking, and invoicing processes related to engineering activities.
- Commit to ongoing development and diversification of the role to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to negotiate and influence internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to maintain service levels and meet targets.
- Sound numerical, analytical, and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in engineering systems management (CMMS), work order administration, and compliance record keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other PC-based systems.
- Competence in database management, development, and maintenance, Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Full RTW in the UK.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
