Overview

Field Service Technician - Gas Engines

Up to £40,000 plus Van + Bonus + Benefits

Worcester

MC Technical Recruitment are currently working with a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team.

This is a field-based role covering sites across the Worcestershire region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
  • Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
  • Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
  • Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
  • Participating in a call out rota
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
  • Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites
  • Full UK driving licence
