We are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our Endoscopy teams at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Along with your previous experience of working with adults in an Endoscopy or similar environment, candidates should possess GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades A-C or Grades 9 - 4 or equivalent) and an NVQ 3 in Healthcare or be willing to work towards this. This role does not meet the requirements for Sponsorship, therefore you must hold unrestricted right to work in the UK.
All new staff joining Endoscopy will take part in a 12 week supernumerary training programme that takes place across our hospital sites. The training follows the latest national standards and guidelines, as well as Trust policies and procedures.
You'll learn via a mix of face to face learning, hands on demonstration, practical assessments and eLearning, to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to provide excellent care to our patients.
Endoscopy is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with new services and facilities planned across both sites—The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. If successful, you will be based at either of these sites, however there may be a requirement to occasionally work cross-site, depending on clinical need. Please express your desire of site in your application.
