Job Opportunity: Litigation Consultant (Employment Law)

Our client, a true market leader in their field, is looking for an experienced Litigation Consultant specialising in employment law to join their field-based team. The successful candidate will have advocacy experience and manage cases across their locality, with some travel required across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home and represent clients in employment tribunal cases. It is ideal for a qualified Advocate seeking better work-life balance or an HR professional who has represented company interests in Tribunal settings.

We seek candidates who are confident, articulate, and legally qualified, with direct employment law experience. The successful candidate will be part of the UK Legal Team, working closely with the employment law advisory service, Litigation Executive teams, and Senior Leadership Team. We value high standards of care, service, and professionalism, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Review allocated claims brought against clients in the Employment Tribunal, in conjunction with the Litigation Executive, including approving drafted pleadings, disclosure exercises, and document bundles.
  2. Represent clients in Tribunals, hearings, and contested cases.
  3. Prepare cases, write-ups, and manage trials in court.
  4. Provide clear case assessments, identify and manage risks and costs.
  5. Represent client interests fully, presenting all relevant legal arguments.
Person Specification
  • Advocacy experience, ideally within employment law.
  • Experience in representing clients in employment tribunal cases.
  • Professional qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Hold a full, valid driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
