Overview

Electronics Design Engineer – Medical Devices FPGA – Cambridge

An exciting and growing Medical Devices organization based in Cambridge is currently seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to work on the development of life-saving and life-improving Medical Devices. With a primary focus on FPGA design, you will collaborate with other electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, physicists, and scientists in the development of these Medical Devices.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on FPGA design as part of the development of medical devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, mechanical, software engineers, physicists, and scientists.
  • Engage in hands-on prototype development and soldering to construct the electronics you have designed.
  • Work with highly complex technologies, maintaining challenges and continuous learning in daily work.
Qualifications
  • Ideally, prior experience in electronics design for Medical Devices.
  • Open to candidates from other highly regulated sectors, provided expertise lies in FPGA electronics design.
  • Degree in electronics engineering is preferred; alternative career paths into Electronics Design Engineering are welcome if industry experience is strong.
