Job description

Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a 12-week temp to perm scheme.

Job Details

• Location: Greater Belfast Area
• Salary: £36,000 per year (room to increase once taken permanently)
• Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday only
• Overtime: 1.5x rate
• JIB Gold Card or equivalent (desired) & 18th Edition required

Responsibilities

• General electrical reactive maintenance to the site, including changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors, fixing shelves, patching plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• Perform PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Conduct building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
• Electrical bias repairs to building maintenance system, lighting and power upgrades, electrical conduits and circuit boards, distribution work, three-phase equipment etc. (not all of this is required).
• Daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated – reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails – using a PDA Tablet and company-provided Smartphone.
