Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Tutor/Trainer in Newmarket. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching and assessing learners in Electrical qualifications. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations and have experience delivering training. Strong organizational and motivational skills are essential. Salary is up to £34,000 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold solid occupational competency as an Electrician.

Essential Criteria

• Must hold your own Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations, or equivalent.
• Must have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners.

• Must hold solid occupational competency as an Electrician.
• Must be IT Literate.

Duties

• Teach/assess learners working towards Electrical qualifications up to Level 2 within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners’skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
