A leading utility company is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team at the Ashford Common Water Treatment Site. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background, preferably hold an NVQ or C&G level 3, and be able to work independently. This position offers a salary up to £42,000 per annum, alongside excellent benefits including a contributory pension and annual leave of 26 days.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team in our Clean Water Division, based at our Ashford Common Water Treatment Site.
As a successful candidate, you will use your electrical knowledge and experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, ensuring our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.

Base Location: Ashford Common – TW15 1RU
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Standby rota payments and overtime opportunities can increase earning potential by up to a further £8,000–£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
