Contract: Permanent, full time - 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday

Salary: £44,177.30 per annum + 5% additional for recognition of weekend working

We are seeking an NVQ level 3 qualified Electrician with experience leading teams to join our team at HMP Hollesley Bay, a category D Adult/Male prison. As an Electrical Supervisor you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Requirements
  • Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Full driving licence preferably with D1
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
